Ussuriysk branch office of RUSTEEL has put into operation automated scrap loader “Cutterpillar”, the investments totaled 10 mln RUB.

The new system greatly increases the speed of loading process and improves effectiveness of handling, reduces costs of light scrap recycling. Press for packing scrap will entail the growth of light scrap purchase, including old and used cars in car dismantling points, recycling of this kind of scrap is usually very expensive so other companies don’t want to buy it.

Only two specialists are needed for press maintenance: press engineer and his assistant. Thus, mechanized feed of scrap to the press by automated loader may release specialists for other services – for example, cutting and loading pressed metal to the customer’s car simultaneously with press work. As a result, RUSTEEL clients service became twice faster, capability to supply raw materials to steel producers may increase to 1500 t/month.
