SALE OF RUSSIAN TRANSFORMER STEEL IN SOUTH-EAST ASIA AND PRC

Due to our specialists’ efforts Russian transformer steel has been constantly present in the markets of PRC and South-East Asia for 15 years already being now used in virtually all segments of transformers manufacturing: for power transformers and distribution transformers, stranded magnetic circuit transformers and stacked magnetic circuit transformers, dry-type transformers and oil-type transformers. Ultimate consumers highly appreciate the quality of supplied products and use them in transformers where Japan-made and Korea-made steels were traditionally used.

Apart from other reasons, it resulted from high-quality technical support which allows:
- - to make selective deliveries of transformer steel in accordance with requirements of ultimate consumer;
- to work together with consumer on improvement of efficiency of Russia-made transformer steel use in end-products (recommendations concerning cutting, annealing, designing).

Joint venture of NMLK and largest manufacturer of transformers in PRC corporation TBEA for processing of transformer steel which was established in 2008 will allow to raise level of technical support of Russian transformer steel thus making it closer to ultimate consumer.
