NON-GRAIN ORIENTED ELECTRICAL STEEL APPLICATION

Cold-rolled non-grain oriented electrical steel is widely used as material for cores of rotary and electrostatic machines.

NGO steel with low specific loss is used for large-size generators. For small-size motors and ballast cores the so-called "materials with high efficiency factor" are required due to low core loss and high permeability.
